Pont Du Gard
France's most famous Roman ruin, the Pont du Gard is both a technical as well as artistic masterpiece. This bridge stands almost 50 m high and is part of the aqueduct built around the year 50 to transport water from the Eure spring near Uzès to Nimes, a distance of over 50 kilometers.

A completely pedestrian site it has many hidden trails that can lead you to the banks of the Gardon or panoramic views of the region.
